Add authentic Persian herb bunches to your menu with our bulk produce for restaurants – Wholesale Fresh Shahi (Persian Watercress). Each bunch ships with small round tender leaves and thin pale stems, delivering the sharp peppery bite that defines Persian sabzi khordan plates. That way Persian restaurants get the signature herb their customers expect on every kebab, cheese, and bread platter. Halal caterers plate the fresh bunches on shared appetizer boards alongside feta, walnut, radish, and lavash bread. Persian grocery retailers stock bunches weekly for Iranian, Afghan, and Central Asian home cooks. At Green Lion Produce Inc., we specialize in distributing fresh wholesale produce to the food service industry, providing expert logistical handling. Features:

• Authentic Persian Sabzi Khordan Herb: Shahi delivers the sharp peppery flavor that Persian, Afghan, and Iranian cuisines expect on every fresh herb plate. As a result, Persian and Middle Eastern kitchens pick Shahi over generic watercress or arugula where cultural authenticity matters.
• Physical Traits & Culinary Application: Small round bright-green tender leaves on thin pale stems with a peppery mustard-like bite. The bunches suit sabzi khordan (Persian fresh herb platter), kuku sabzi (Persian herb frittata) fillings, kebab-plate garnish, ash reshteh soup topping, and Persian salad blends.
• Wholesale Produce Procurement: First, each bunch is inspected at intake for leaf freshness, color depth, and stem integrity. We source only through vetted wholesale supply partners with authentic Persian herb harvest experience.
• Wholesale Distribution Reliability: We ship bulk produce for restaurants via our commercial cold-chain logistics network. Careful temperature and humidity handling protects the delicate tender leaves. Wholesale partners receive consistent grade and bunch weight week after week.

Various kitchens use Shahi. For example, Persian restaurants build sabzi khordan platters with Shahi alongside Tarreh, mint, tarragon, feta cheese, walnut, and lavash bread as the signature opener before kebab service. Afghan and Central Asian kitchens plate fresh Shahi with grilled meats and yogurt sauces. Kuku sabzi programs blend Shahi into the herb-forward Persian frittata alongside parsley, cilantro, and dill. Ash reshteh cooks garnish the noodle-and-bean soup with fresh Shahi leaves for peppery brightness. Halal catering companies feature the bunches on shared appetizer boards for Persian weddings and cultural events. For the classic Persian leek herb, see the Tarreh Persian leek alternative. For the aromatic Persian fenugreek herb, see the fenugreek Persian herb alternative.
