Green Lion Produce: a High-Quality Produce Supply Service Operated by a Chef

Hello, I am Arsalan Farhangzare, and I am the owner of Green Lion Produce. Many years ago, while working as a chef here in Los Angeles County, I struggled with the quality of produce that was available for the restaurant where I worked.

After talking with other chefs and restaurant owners, I noticed that many of us had the same concerns with the produce: a surprising lack of flavor and freshness, late deliveries, and high prices. As you know, these conditions make it difficult to meet the expectations of our clientele and provide them with the best dining experience possible. Once I realized how wide-spread these problems were, I set out to do something about it.

In 2017, I started Green Lion Produce with the goal of providing the best produce possible to restaurants and other establishments that rely on quality, freshness, and flavor. Not only do we procure and deliver on the same day, to assure freshness, but we also test each lot of produce personally to ensure our clients get only the best quality.
